I had came up with an idea where weapons can have their power boosted. You can boost the weapons by coating/overcoating them in different metals and/or inserting a gemstone into them.
Gemstones: (Diamond requires lvl 30+ Jeweler)
Ruby = Fire
Emerald = Poison
Opal = Death
Amethyst = Plague
Sapphire = Water
Topaz = Electricity
Diamond = Universal (VERY RARE)
The larger the gemstone the more the elemental damage.
(Tiny, Small, Medium, Large, Huge, Gargantuan.
Coat-able/Overcoat-able material: (High level blacksmith jobs needed.)
Aluminum +5% Damage -1% Speed
Iron +10% Damage -3% Speed
Steel +17.5 Damage -4% Speed
Titanium +27.5% Damage -2.5% Speed
Blackmetal +40% Damage -5% Speed
Reduced speed stacks when overcoating.
Damage does not stack when overcoating.
Lore: Blackmetal is a very rare material with the power of the ancients. It is banned in the Black Market. If someone was to sell it, it will come at a hefty price!
